LAUREN MICHELLE

Lauren Michelle is a freelance movement artist and teacher in Atlanta. She has performed in soloist and ensemble roles throughout the U.S. with Fuerta Dance Company, The Esthete Collective, Chicago Repertory Ballet, the Portland Opera, and in other movement art projects. Her training has included artistic scholarships under Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, NW Dance Project, Houston Contemporary Dance Company, and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre.

Lauren received her Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from Point Park University. Her time in college exposed her to many styles outside of her home base (ballet!) and unlocked her confidence to continue studying additional forms of dance. In every class that she teaches, she welcomes students to be brave with vulnerability and explore how they can express themselves within the technical bounds of each style. She teaches throughout the Pacific Northwest and the Atlanta area.
