Bryan Brinson is an Atlanta-based dancer, choreographer, and educator with over 15 years of experience teaching, directing, and building community through hip hop dance. He is the founder of Motion Collective Dance Inc., an organization dedicated to accessible training, mentorship, and culturally grounded movement education.

Bryan is trained in hip hop and house dance, with a teaching approach centered on groove, musicality, foundations, and intentional movement. His classes prioritize clarity, repetition, and exploration—creating a supportive environment for beginners while offering depth and nuance for experienced dancers. Deeply influenced by the roots and evolution of hip hop culture, Bryan emphasizes freestyle, individuality, and community connection as essential elements of dance education.

His teaching and leadership experience includes serving as a Hip Hop Director for multiple programs, including Dazz with Jazz and Artistically Me Camp, as well as instructing at studios and community programs such as Mass Motion (Boston, MA), Bridget’s Dance Studio (Braintree, MA), Stiggity Stackz Dance Program (Boston, MA), and various outreach initiatives over the past decade. Bryan has also worked extensively in youth development and community-based arts programming, using dance as a tool for empowerment and engagement.

Bryan holds a degree in Communications from Maryville University, which informs his ability to clearly communicate concepts, foster inclusive learning spaces, and mentor dancers beyond technique. Through Motion Collective Dance and the Soul Motion Project, his mission is to cultivate sustainable dance spaces that value presence over pressure, process over performance, and growth rooted in culture, integrity, and community.
