LEAH STERNBERG
Leah is an Atlanta transplant originally from Chicago. From the age of 3, Leah has been building her dance skills and career. With a background in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, hip hop, and Irish dancing, she pursued a dance minor at Illinois Wesleyan University while getting her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. While at IWU, she was captain of the dance team, president of Cohesion Dance Company, and performed in multiple dance concerts. During her time in college, she gained experience in choreographing and producing shows.
She discovered Dance 101 while looking for a heels class to take with her roommate. After her first class, it was a deep dive into the Dance 101 community. With favorites such as Ballet Relevé with Lara and Ready! Set! Dance! with Katie, it wasn’t long before she wanted to get more involved. You can find also find her and her quintessential “Leah” energy working the front desk and filling in other classes as a substitute teacher.
