Burlesque Jazz

Experience a 2018 spin on a centuries old tradition. Burlesque catapulted to modern day popularity in the U.S. through variety shows, cabarets, clubs and theatres, combining bawdy comedy with female striptease. Fast forward to 2018: using musical artists like Christina, Janet and Prince (with some occasional throwbacks like Nina Simone and Sarah Vaughn), our burlesque jazz class emphasizes the female tease while incorporating jazz technique.

Jazz Roulette

This class is called Jazz Roulette because of Caitlin's vast choreographic repertoire-- which includes every incarnation of Jazz imaginable: Commercial Jazz, Contemporary Jazz, Broadway jazz and Burlesque... Reggaeton 101

Although it originated in Panama, Reggaeton blends Jamaican musical influences of dancehall, with those of Latin America, such as salsa, Latin rap and electronica. Since it's mainstream appearance in the US in 2004, Reggaeton has become a prolific musical genre. This introductory level Latin fitness class pairs traditional salsa footwork, hip hop and fitness with an eclectic Latin musical mix. Most of the soundtrack is Reggaeton with some salsa thrown in for extra fun.
