Stretch & Alignment 101

Great class for those who enjoy a gentler workout or have tender joints or injury, this class teaches the Elemental Body Alignment System (EBAS): a method of stretch and alignment developed for dancers by Scott Putman, the founder and Artistic Director of Amaranth Contemporary Dance and dance professor at Virginia Commonwealth University. EBAS is a neurologically integrative stretch and strengthening system that improves how you move by helping to increase flexibility and range of motion through activation of the small muscles around our joints.

Combined with deep but gentle floor stretches and core strengthening, each session will move you closer to your flexibility goals and work you out in a gentle manner.  Truly joyful and relaxing class that is every bit as beneficial as yoga or pilates. Try something different! Try this.
