(alpharetta) Something to tap about!

Dear Dancers, Artistic Athletes and Dreamers!

Here's the 101, 411 for this week!

David is out this Saturday. He's in LA visiting his family during Spring Break! And of course, because of Spring Break, we couldn't find subs for Thread and Jazz Funk this Saturday April 8. Please make a note of this - and for those who don't get or read my lovely weekly 101... I hope you've downloaded our app and check it before you drive over!

Debuting this Saturday, we have Jenna's Beginner Tap 4-5pm. We learned a few things last Saturday about our Tappers: there are two groups of you. Advanced Beginners (otherwise known as Intermediate) and Beginners. So we've split the class. Tap at 2pm will be for our Advanced Beginners and the 4pm class will be for Beginners (with some knowledge of Tap). Sandwiched between the two is Jenna's fabulous Broadway Jazz class - giving you the opportunity to take 2 classes when you come.  The Jazz class will be beginner level for the time being.

In conclusion, although we're down David's 2 classes this Saturday, we still have 5 classes for you - beginning with Tanya's exciting Hip Hop Shakedown and Rachel's beginner ballet!

Let's talk Kevin Maddox (who happens to be one of my most favorite people on earth and I'm not alone on this!). He's taking a very very long overdue break during April - returning in May. The month will fly by and before we know it, he'll be back on Wednesday evenings bringing his infectious joy and energy into our lives. Stepping into his very big shoes is Ashleigh Hughes. She'll be on the schedule twice a week this month: Tuesdays 7:30pm AND Wednesdays 7:30pm.  Considering the phenomenal calorie burn her class delivers (just in time for a cute new bathing suit), goal yourself to take both classes and watch what happens to you! Get a great workout and have a blast in the process. Rarely do we find a class that gives us a generous serving of both... take advantage! Bring a towel!

And lastly, Katrina will be out the next two Wednesdays.. April 12 & 19th. In place of her Ballet Barre Beautiful on these two days I will be teaching a Pop Up Thread - which I'm really excited about!  It will be my version of Thread: a little different from David's. My version adds a deep stretch in the last 20 minutes. I've already begun working on my playlist and moves and I can't wait! Please join me!

As always...

Do what you love and watch more of it show up in your life!

Exercise your dreams, Alpharetta!
