A very popular workshop among dancers and yogis alike, this 8 week, 16 class experience is led by Ofelia de La Valette, who created and perfected the Dancer's Stretch Method 17 years ago with over 5000 hours of research, training and development. This innovative stretch method has a proven track record in accelerating flexibility, as well as injury recovery and prevention. The Dancer's Stretch is a unique blend of yoga, floor barre and pilates, presented as choreography - against a backdrop of thoughtfully chosen music (which matches the movement).

Pointe Workshop with Rachel

This 6 week workshop is for dancers of at least intermediate level ballet technique, who know positions well and feel comfortable working in releve (demi-pointe) at barre and center, and are ready to begin or revisit working en pointe. We will begin each class with ankle strengthening exercises (using resistance bands, towels, etc) and then progress to pointe exercises at the barre; classes later in the series may also take pointe exercises in the center.

Beginner Tap

Tap is most effectively taught in a progressive method. For this reason we offer you this series introducing you to the wonderful world of tap. Learn basic rhythms and combinations which are the foundation of this incredibly fun dance genre. Tap yourself into a few sizes smaller as you receive excellent instruction from Atlanta Tap Master Teacher: Barry Thomas. The hour will fly by and by the end of this program you will have a working understanding of this art form!
