Welcome to an enriching hour of transformation! This class is great for anyone who has not stepped into a Ballet class in quite some time - or never! Lovingly taught by Catherine Smith (who learned Ballet as an adult), the experience begins with 40 minutes of classical ballet barre, interspersed with careful strength training designed to increase muscle memory and tone. Each sequence is oriented to healthy posture and improved joint mobility.
We conclude our time together on the floor, moving through alignment-based stretches to lengthen and release the muscles. Increase your flexibility and balance, build strength and endurance and acquire (or refresh) dance vocabulary.
