For our busy Contemporary Ballet lovers who enjoy a bit more progressive application of the classical - and only have an hour available. Welcome to Contemporary Barre, an Intermediate level Contemporary ballet barre class- good for the body, mind, and soul! This class begins with a 5 minute warmup away from the barre to loosen the joints and engage the core, then transitions to a 40 minute ballet barre that focuses on balance, coordination, and weight shifting.
The class ends away from the barre with a stretch and tendu in center- leaving you feeling strong, poised, and centered. And wait til you hear the playlist! (think Beyoncé meets alt-J) This contemporary ballet barre will energize you- a great workout, de-stress you - an awesome playlist and strengthen your technique - become an Artistic Athlete!
