The Joy of Tap (Intermediate)

Step into the whimsical imagination of longtime Atlanta Tap Master Barry Thomas. The best description of this class would be to say it's Barry's Tap Class. But you might not have lived in Atlanta long enough to know about Barry's iconic dance career. So here's a description that won't really do this class justice... Really, you should just grab your tap shoes and come on over.  But here goes: This is an Intermediate level class, using an eclectic mix of big band, swing, Broadway, pop, rock, and classical music.

Welcome to Barre & Stretch 101

Welcome to an enriching hour of transformation! This class is great for anyone who has not stepped into a Ballet class in quite some time - or never! Lovingly taught by Catherine Smith (who learned Ballet as an adult), the experience begins with 40 minutes of classical ballet barre, interspersed with careful strength training designed to increase muscle memory and tone. Each sequence is oriented to healthy posture and improved joint mobility.
